Okay I gave up on uploading my Barong trip part.2 since all the pictures were to heavy and I ain't got time to resize it while maintaining the quality of the pictures. So I'm moving on with my second scheduled post (oh gosh I feel so unorganised now) which is a series that Valerie has took one for me inside the #foreverunderrenovation LaCodefin building.
Now based on the title suggested, WHO IS WEEABOO?? and AM I A WEEABOO? the answer may vary depends on my mood basically. I used to be obsessed (by means obsessed like owning a thousand manga comic book and anime memorabilia obsessed) with Japanese culture not so long ago, probably since I was in Primary school. Call it Sailormoon magic wand up to Dragon Ball 7 balls bitch owned it. Gradually I thought my Japanese obsession was just a phase, turns out I by definition am a mild WEEABOO up until by the age of 22. Hate to admit it because of the bad name WEEABOO has brought to the society. I was quite sceptic at first when I found out that I'm a WEEABO myself (yes, I've done all my reading about WEEABOO characteristic) since the one that obsessed with such a thing are NEET (people on their 20's not having a job but playing games everyday) typically. However, since I'm only a mild WEEABOO Japanese culture affects my daily life choice on a medium scale. Why medium? because I wasn't into Japanese music somehow except for R.I.P the late Nujabes. Still I hate to agree that I prefer to eat in a bowl! I choose to eat Japanese food over Indonesian food! I pick Taiyaki instead of Pancake! I love $2 green tea Matcha more than a $150 Luwak Coffee (I just can't stand coffee actually).
So after I terrorised my brain about WEEABOO matters, i stumbled upon this very cute bomber jacket that I actually knew a lot of Lookbookers wore the same jacket on their post. Without any hesitation I bought it from OMOCAT and waiting impatiently for it to be arrive. The day has finally come, I put on the slightly baggy jacket and thought to myself "shit, I really am a super WEEABOO".
I made this small mix and match that resembles a rebel Japanese school girl, complete with a PVC sailor skirt and white collar shirt. TA-RA here's the full shoots, hope you like it!
Plus what do you think of a WEEABOO? or are you one of them? comment below please!
